7 ways to teach Counting

These are easy to teach if you have some good ideas on his sleeve. Young students need a lot of repetitions for learning to count. The more you practice, it can get better. These ideas seem similar to you (because they all have something), but I guarantee that I look very different activities for students.

The first tower block. Locking, children have to build a tower. Once you get 10 blocks, which can fly towerdown. If you have young children are sure to keep the tower stable since it built. There is nothing worse than falling from the tower itself!

second eggs / food are. There are 10 things in one basket. We have many toy eggs at our school, so this is what I use. But the food can work. After counting 10 pieces, let them pretend to go through the room, go home.

Third and Lego collectors. May involve students Legos(Or any other type of connector block) as they put them together. You can also put together the skills to work here and alternating blocks of different colors.

scales quarter. Count the stairs when going up or down. As for the count, all that is around them. 5 carrots on your plate at lunch. 7 buttons on his jacket.

fifth hand. Every month trying to get at least one song that deals with counting and play at least once a day.

6th GroupEffort. If you are trying to teach in higher numbers, it's hard to let every child has a duty to do so alone. Instead, the working group. For example, let each child put a block on the tower.

Circle 7100. Let your students sit in a circle. Go around the circle, now that every child in the next issue. Counting the 100th To make this more difficult for older children, create a rule that the student is "out" if he or she makes a mistake. In this way,You can make a race to see which students can count the highest.

These seven ways to teach counting are easy to make and give students the repetition they need to learn to count. I hope that soon, will not be able to stop them count!
