ABC books that do not feel like Rip Out Your Hair (reading, at least for the first 500,)

When my son was born had a shelf full of books. What do you expect from a child whose mother teaches English? Since it was my first child, I had very little knowledge of what were "supposed" to read a baby. As I say, no matter whether Sports Illustrated, The Economist, the bible or dictionary to check a baby, but only love to hear your voice, and I work under the theory that the limit of a child 's exposure to new andchallenging words (provided they do not understand) is to give him a disservice. Neither my husband nor I have books were "too advanced" saved for him, and I can see who pays.

Now that we have praised the benefits of high-level texts, let me get back to basics: building blocks of communication: letters. ABC pounds. I confess that up to fifteen pounds different alphabet, and this without counting the Sesame Street series of 26 pounds (one for eachWriting). By the way, these books are incredible, and Xander loves him: the familiar characters, rhymes, stupidity, everything, and the number of books give much credit for interest on Xander in words and reading.

Some other ABC books for young readers great that you do not mind reading again and again:

Animal Action ABC by Karen Pandellé, handwriting books that I love this for several reasons. All ABC Match, words to action. Children are inundated with a noun, isto raise wonderful, a book of 26 great verbs such as fees, inflated, and jump! Each letter / word of action with a color photo accompanied the animals in action, as well as take a picture of a child the same. In our family, this book would read, often tried to ask us all the proposed measures, as well. This was and still is a favorite Xander.

The Elephant Alphabet by Gene Yates Kids Books-This is really funny. Each page shows a strongly coloredElephant looks in the form of a letter of specific forms. The caption for each image contains several words that begin with each letter "G sips elephant garlic and green."

All these books have expanded the ability to hear tones Xander letter. At first, he could identify the first letters of words, that he had no idea. In support of this, we give away letter sounds, play trivia games, books, and I saw other fun flash cards, and showed him whatThe words seem, as we read. I also need props, a DVD, give, by Leap Frog Letter Factory. Xander loved and put the songs with him.

Finally, if you had a particular book, just put away a bit '. "Find" later, the child is excited and happy, and you can also still like the same
